While staying at hotels, people with arthritis should make sure that the hotel in which they will be staying has all the facilities which they need.

If the arthritis patient opts to stay at a guest house, they should make sure that the facilities provided by these guest houses are according to their needs. As many guesthouses are basically big family-homes, with not enough space in the bathrooms; so it is better to check out if the bathrooms are big enough to accommodate the wheelchair. Before booking a room at a hotel or a guest house, always ask if they have special arrangements for the less-mobile people.
